William Green Burrow was the son of John and Rebecca Burrow. William was born about 1830 in Bedford County, Tennessee. He married Mary Ann Baker Oct. 31, 1867 in Benton County, Arkansas. William served in the Civil War with the Confederacy. He enlisted in Bentonville, July 27, 1861. He was a 3rd corporal in Company D, Second Mounted Arkansas Rifles, under the command of Gen. William J. Hardee. His first battle was at Wilson's Creek in Greene County, Missouri. After the war he returned to Benton County, Arkansas, remaining there until after 1880. In 1870 William had two children; Margie and John Burrow.

Notes for DANIEL LEWIS BAKER:

Daniel Louis Baker's occupation listed at the time of his son Tom Othal Baker's birth in 1899 was as a farmer. He was also Section Foreman for the railroad at Payden/Spiro, Oklahoma before 1907. In 1923 Daniel retired from the railroad and moved his family to a farm in Star, Oklahoma.

He and his brothers were Fiddle players for dances and entertainment all over Crawford County as well as northeast Oklahoma.

Death certificate lists cause of death as a cerebral hemmorage that occurred April 28, 1947. He died five days later on May 2, 1947 at home in Quinton, Oklahoma and was buried May 4th in Stigler, Oklahoma.

The inscription his headstone shared with wife, Mary, reads "Tho' lost to sight, to memory dear."

Mary Clyde Taylor-Baker's parents died in 1884 , she was raised by her paternal Grandmother Taylor and her Uncle Joe Taylor. She also had an older brother that died when she was nine years of age.

Mary Clyde Taylor-Baker is believed to be Choctaw Indian. She played the Organ and the Accordion.
